This lot includes an appealing mix of hand-blown mercury glass ornaments, many with original silvering, mica accents, and painted decoration. Shapes include traditional balls, elongated teardrops, ribbed lanterns/icicles, bells, and figural-style pieces. Several ornaments feature deep indented reflectors (“kugels”), a hallmark of earlier European production, Also included is a boxed vintage glass tree topper, retaining its original illustrated cardboard box (box shows age wear, topper intact).
