No. 691240, twenty-three pieces, all depicting English fox hunting scenes after Lionel Edwards (British, 1878-1966), with cream borders and faux bois edges, all retailed by Sloane & Smith, Ltd., London, c. 1920s: fourteen dinner plates: No. 1., "Full Cry"; two No. 2, "Gone Away"; No. 3, "Going to a Halloa"; No. 4, "The Check"; No. 5, "Off to Draw"; No. 6, "The Find"; two No. 7, "Homeward"; No. 9, "Stag at Bay"; No. 10, "Drawing the Dingle"; No. 11, "The Kill"; and two No. 12, "The Last Draw", at least four with crazing, 10" dia.; and nine saucers: No. 1A, "The Fox"; No. 2A, "The Hound"; No. 3A, "The Terrior [sic] Man"; No. 5A, "The First Whip; No. 6A, "The Second Whip"; No. 8A, "The Earth Stopper"; No. 9A, "The Kennel Huntsman"; No. 10A, "The Groom"; and No. 12A, "The Second Horseman", all with expected wear including surface scratches.
