A fine Meissen cobalt-ground rococo-revival coffee service for six, 20th century, after a design by Ernst August Leuteritz (1818–1893), comprising a coffee pot and cover (20 cm high), a covered sugar bowl, a cream jug, and six cups with matching saucers, with deeply scrolled moulded bodies, rocaille reliefs, and cobalt blue panels with gilt highlights, the white reserves decorated with hand-painted garden flowers in polychrome enamels, underglaze blue crossed swords impressed numerals and iron-red painter’s marks. Double strike through blue crossed swords on all items, but no damage or repair.
