The front features an allegory of music in the style of François Boucher, surrounded by four gilded medallions with beaded edges, each depicting a mythological face painted in vibrant polychrome (Mercury, Cybele, Hercules, and Bacchus); the back is decorated with overlapping geometric panels. The lid, handles, and base are made of gilded bronze, height 75 cm.
