ROCKINGHAM CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA STONEWARE DIMINUTIVE CROCK, salt-glazed, approximately one-pint capacity, wide-mouth form with a single incised ring below the thin, flattened rim. Probably Lindsey Morris (1817-1902), Lily site on Dry River (active circa 1872-1890) across from John D. Heatwole, Rockingham Co., VA.1870-1890. 4" H, 3 7/8" D rim. Literature: See Jeffrey S.
