*RAYMOND DELHEID Art Deco periode / époque Art Déco A pair of four-branch candlesticks. Silver (800/1000). Hexagonal foot, stem and cuppa. Modernist work. Little is known about the silversmith Raymond Delheid. He worked independently of the house Delheid. He stopped his activities probably around 1933. (R.Steel & W.Nys, on.cit., p.268, note 15) Paar vierarmige kaarsenhouders. Zilver, tweede gehalte (800/1000). Zeskantige voet, stam en cuppa. Modernistisch werk. Over de zilversmid Raymond Delheid is bitter weinig geweten. Hij werkte zelfstandig, los van het huis Delheid Frères. Vermoedelijk stopte hij zijn activiteiten rond 1933.
