Victorian Silver-Plated Figural Presentation Pitcher by H.M. Emanuel & Sons, circa 1870-1890 Monumental 19th-century British presentation pitcher or ceremonial tankard, crafted in wood and silver plate with dramatic figural relief decoration. The body features a highly detailed battle scene in deep relief, with mounted and foot soldiers in combat, possibly referencing classical or Napoleonic themes. Mounted with an ornate scroll handle and domed lid surmounted by a standing trumpeting figure. Stamped on the base: "H.M. Emanuel & Sons (By Appointment to the Queen), Ordnance Row, Portsea" and numbered "345." H.M. Emanuel & Sons was a notable military silversmith and outfitter with a royal warrant under Queen Victoria.
