SPANISH COLONIAL SILVER MATE CUPS. Comprising two finely crafted silver mate cups, 19th century. Including an ornate footed example with ball-and-claw three-legged central support and with repoussé and chased sides, birds resting on the rim, and with silver straw also mounted with a bird. Together with a gourd-shaped example resting on three human figural legs, with heavily repoussé sides and a chain-linked fitted cover. Together with associated straw. Greatest measurement 9.5 inches (24.1cm).
