A silver plated roll top caviar dish or rotating butter dish of spherical form. The piece features a rotating dome lid with a small spherical finial and a wide horizontal flange encircling the midsection. It is supported by a tripod base consisting of three flared legs with stylized detailing that terminate in ball feet. The interior houses a removable shallow bowl insert.
