Giuseppe Vasari gilt metal chess set and board. Figures depict the Napoleonic and British armies. Complete set includes 32 pieces and gilt metal mounted onyx chess board rising on cannon supports. Figures signed 'Vasari' to various locations including side of figure, top of base and top of castle. Chess board measures 24 1/4" (61.5cm) square from cannon to cannon. Largest figure measures 4 7/8" (12.5cm) height.
