Black Magic #1, British edition, published in the 1950s by Arnold Book Company. This example is the "yellow box" variant cover issue, as the title was also issued with the cover text along the bottom edge in a red box. Early horror comic featuring Simon and Kirby material, including the story titled "A Silver Bullet for Your Heart!" The issue appears complete. The first interior page appears to be signed "Joe Simon" along the lower edge; the signature has not been authenticated. Covers show edge and corner wear, creasing, surface wear, and small edge tears consistent with age. Interior pages show age toning and general handling wear.
