Die fruchtbare Zusammenarbeit zwischen Picasso und Suzanne und Georges Ramié der Ateliers Madoura in Vallauris führte zu zahlreichen wunderschönen Arbeiten, die meist in Auflagen produziert wurden. Selten sind hingegen die von Picasso geschaffenen Unikate, wie das hier angebotene Werk. Die Rückseite ist ebenfalls von Picasso mit Gesichtern bemalt.
