Tom Otterness (American, b. 1952), Bronze Male Figure with Martini Glass, 1994; Bronze sculpture designed by Tom Otterness and cast by the Tallix Foundry in Beacon, New York. No visible signature or numbering. The piece is non-functioning and is a smaller component of a larger work commissioned for Battery Park. However, this figure was not included in the installation; Provenance: initially created for the Battery Park Commission on Humpty Dumpty in New York City, but never used in the final installation, this figure was given to the family by the artist in 1995.
