Art Deco Dorothea Charol Gilt Bronze Figure Sculpture- The Guitar Girl, Circa 1930. Modeled as a young maiden carrying her guitar on an oval base signed D. Charol. This sculpture was designed by the Russian artist Dorothea Charol (1889-1963) who was a member of the Russian colony of Russian emigrants in Berlin. In 1920s she was the most prominent designer for the art department of the Rosenthal Bahnhof-Selb factory. Height - 30cm / 11.8in. Base - 9cm X 11cm / 3.54in X 4.33in.
