DESCRIPTION: A cabinet Box attributed to Carlo Bugatti. Features inlaid bone in scrolling Oriental floral motif throughout the box and along the two pull drawers fitted with carved figural bone handles. Drawers are flanked by two spiraling columns topped with amber carved into the motif of acorns. The sides of the box are garnished with carved rococo floral motif finished in gold leaf. Overall box is finished with gilded bronze, animal paw motif feet and a bone top handle garnished with braided brass and an amber finial. CIRCA: 19th-20th Ct.
