Wine vessel type "Yue", China late Shang dynasty, bronze with green patina and cuprite. The high legged vessel is decorated with a taotie relief band. A handle is attached to the side. One of the two vertical handles crowning the rim has a short inscription. Classic vessel with beautiful, varied patina. H 22 cm, dia. 17 cm.
