Very well-known painter and sculptor from India. Husband of B. Prabha (Lot #207). Bronze sculpture of a female figure in green patina. Artist's signature in Devanagari along the bottom edge on the reverse.  Measures 18 inches tall x 9 inches wide x 7 inches deep. Provenance: From the estate of the artist purchased by a well-known Mumbai collector in 2004. Now a part of a Boston, Massachusetts collection purchased directly from the above collector. Lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Sunil Badgelwar, legal heir and manager of the astist’s estate.
