De Angelis, Giovanni. 1938 Ischia - lives and works ibidem. Large amorphous form [cactus]. 1999. carrara marble, hewn and polished, back dated u. signed 99 G. de Angelis, 90 x 40 x 26 cm.- After his diploma at the Art Institute in Naples in 1958, De Angelis studied in Florence and in 1961 as a scholarship holder of the German Federal Government at the Art Academy in Munich. Numerous international exhibitions followed, large sculptures stand among others in New York and Hamburg. De Angelis also works as a painter and graphic artist. Zahlreiche internationale Ausstellungen folgten, große Skulpturen stehen u.a. in New York und Hamburg. De Angelis arbeitet auch als Maler und Grafiker.
