The overall condition is good. The sheet is hinged to a mat at the reverse upper edges. The image measures 49.8 x 37.9 cm, the sheet 52.4 x 37.9 cm. The dimensions of the mat are 65 x 50 cm. Wolfgang Peuker (1945-2001) Wolfgang Peuker initially trained as an offset printer and studied at the same time on the evening Academy of Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. After completing his training, he studied with Werner Tübke, Bernhard Heisig and Wolfgang Matt Heuer and worked as a freelance artist. He taught at the School of Visual Arts and git a professorship in 1993 at the Art Academy Berlin-Weissensee. Wolfgang Peuker took part in the Biennale 1984 in Venice and was awarded the art prize of the German Democratic Republic.
