Karl-Anton Fleck (1928-1983) The Austrian artist Karl-Anton Fleck was a member of the artist group Der Kreis (The Circle) and the Viennese Secession. Trained as a photo-retoucher he worked as a draftsman, painter, illustrator, jazz musician and poet. His œuvre dealt with the phenomena of psychological and social networking between the individual and mass society. His own identity was increasingly becoming a focus in his work, which is then characterized by introspection, loneliness and obsession in later years. He creates bizarre and grotesque portraits that move away from the reality and convey the viewer's own fragility. Fleck died in Vienna in 1983. He can be seen as one of the greatest artist of the younger contemporary art in Austria. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
