OSKAR GROSS (IL, 1871-1963) Portrait of Ruth Reeder, pastel on illustration board, signed lower right and dated June 1947. In grey painted matched corner frame, with an oval mat, under glass. OS: 28 1/2" x 21 1/2", SS: 22 1/2" x 16". Light foxing. Ruth Marion (Cooper) Reeder (1906-1972), was a student of Gross in Chicago.
