Ink and gouache on paper. Anthropomorphic geometric abstraction. Note: A painter and designer, Baugniet studied under Jean Delville, and was first influenced by symbolism. During a stay in Paris in 1921 he discovered cubism and abstraction. He became one of the pioneers of abstraction in Belgium.
