BEN ZION ( Benzion Weizmann ) 1897-1987 was born in the Ukraine , immigrated to the U.S. in 1920. He joined the group THE TEN , a group of young artists including Joseph Solman , who strive to create something new in art in the 1940's . BEN ZION taught painting at Cooper Union and Ball State Universities. His work is represented in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art , The Museum of Modern Art, and The Newark MUSEUM among many others...THE BEGGAR ...signed , ink on paper ...the art measures about 11 by 15 inches and about 20 by 25 inches as framed it also contains an extra sketch by this artists unsigned, as shown
