§ Maurice Brianchon (French, 1899-1979) Landscape with Bridge signed lower right "Brianchon" oil on canvas h:64 w:91 cm Provenance: Private collection, London. Maurice Brianchon trained at the Ecole des Beaux Arts Decoratifs in Paris where he was influenced by Manet, Matisse, Bonnard and Vuillard. Brianchon was a stage designer, muralist and illustrator as well as a painter. Works by Brianchon can be found in many public collections including the Musee d'Art Moderne in Paris.
