Robert Gordy (American/Louisiana, 1933-1986), "Too-Faced", 1976, acrylic on canvas, titled, signed and dated on stretcher verso "Too-Faced, Robert Gordy Aug. '76", 44-1/2" x 62-1/2". Presented in a contemporary narrow metal frame. Provenance: Private collection, New Orleans, Louisiana. This painting was used as the cover illustration on the invitation for Gordy's show in 1976 at the Phyllis Kind Gallery, Chicago, Illinois.
