It is hand signed in the lower right "E A Pavil". The authenticity of this work has been kindly confirmed by Mr Pierre-Yves Gallard and will be included in his forthcoming catalogue raisonne. The work is registered in Mr Pierre-Yves Gallard archives. Provenance: The estate of the artist. Lina Pavil, Paris, the artist's daughter. Condition: The canvas is relined. There is a hole in the middle of the painting with minor paint missing part next to the hole. Two tiny holes (probably made by pins) next o the signature. There is also a minor hole in the upper right.
