Ducks In Pond Leslie Cope (1913-2002 Oil On Board. Signed and dated 1972. Two duck's sitting in a wintery pond. image 8'' x 10'' frame 13'' x 15''Mr. Cope was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England and immigrated to the U.S. in 1931, ultimately settling in Roseville, Ohio. He worked as a designer for The McCoy Pottery and is known for his depictions of rural life, particularly farm scenes with horses. Cope's work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian and the Carnegie Institute, as well as numerous galleries around Ohio.
