Jacob van Huysum, Still Life with a Vase of Flowers and Fruits Signed lower center: J Van HuysumCertificateSam Segal, Amsterdam, 28.8.2912. - Fred Meijer of the RKD (The Hague) confirmed the authenticity of the work in a letter to the previous owner from 27.11.2012.In his expertise, Sam Segal compares the work to two paintings by Jacob van Huysum in a private collection and the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. He dates the work to around 1728, whereas Fred Meijer of the RKD (The Hague) dates the work a few years earlier. The painting is surrounded by an attractive and possibly original frame. 77 x 64 cm
