(New York/New Mexico/Europe, 1884-1974)Reclining Nude with Reflections, 1967-68, Leon Kroll is reflected painting at an easel in the mirror behind the subject, signed lower right "Leon Kroll 1967-68", titled and numbered "59" on stretcher verso and with estate stamp, oil on canvas, 30 x 50 in.; modern ornate gilt wood frame, painting extends beyond tacking edge and stretcher bar has been resized and reinforced suggesting a possible compositional change by the artist (painting stretched around at top lacks detail of the finished painting), scattered small points of retouch; frame with abrasions.
