Untitled (Portrait of a Man) 1973 oil on board signed and dated lower right: Jane Evans 73 63 x 50.5cm   PROVENANCE:  Private collection, Victoria since 1981   OTHER NOTES:  In 1973 the artist painted the Café Portrait Series set in Kings Cross Sydney.  The capped male figure in this work is also found in another work, Untitled (Cafe Portrait Series) 1974 from a private collection in Nelson, offered as lot 76 at Dunbar Sloane, NZ's  auction on 20/11/2013.
