a Pipe. Signed and dated 'A. Bueno 59' upper left and inscribed 'ANTONIO BUENO' on the reverse of the original stretcher bar. Antonio Bueno (Italian, 1918 - 1984). From an East 62nd St, NYC collection. Dimensions: 39.5" high x 23.75" wide Condition: Lined. Small tight craquelure. Under UV light very small and sparse specks of inpaint fluoresce below neckline and into body of figure. On the left side of the figure next to the arm an area measuring 1.25" high x .25" wide fluoresces more darkly. At the forearms and wrists the specks of inpaint are more prevalent. There may be a few very small and sparse specks in the face and hair but they are inconsequential.
