ATTRIBUTED TO EDWARD MITCHELL BANNISTER (MA/RI/CAN, 1828-1901) - River Scene with Canoeist, oil on chipboard, laid to board, unsigned, later inscription verso. In carved gold and sponge work frame with gilt liner, OS: 19" x 23", SS: 11 1/2" x 15 1/2". Bend to lower left corner, scuff center left in sky.
