Oil painting on canvas depicting a man pushing a woman on a swing as her lover hides in the bushes below to try and get the perfect peek. After Jean-Honoré Fragonard's (FRENCH, 1732 - 1806) original work executed in 1767, which is currently in the Wallace Collection, London. Mounted in gilt wood scrolled frame with matting. Lot also includes 'Painting of the Western World; Baroque and Rococo' book by Ian Barras Hill; 1980. Painting measures 36" height x 28" width + 2 3/4" mat & frame.
