Robert Buffum of Lynn, Massachusetts, 1879; now in the collection of The Boston Art Club. Robert Buffum, accompanies this lot. The stretcher bar is inscribed Buffum. Lt. Robert Buffum, of Lynn, Massachusetts, was a 1863 recipient of the Medal of Honor.
