ED (EDWIN) DOUGLAS (OH/ME/MA, 1935 - ) - "Cool Nude", oil on luan panel, initialed lower right, titled on Greenhut Gallery of Portland, Maine label verso, in gold and black frame with broad white liner having a black lip, OS: 20 1/2" x 20 1/4", SS: 12" x 11 1/2". Fine condition. Until his retirement a few years ago, Douglas taught drawing and painting at the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine where he was also head of the art department.
