Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Rectangular top with open scrolled ends, the top with two-tone incised and lacqueredof boys partaking in various activities amidst landscape and buildings, the legs each decorated front and back sides with meander pattern decoration. H. 32 1/2 in., W. 50 1/2., D. 16 3/4 Condition: At some point around 1900-1920, the front skirt was cut and fitted for use as a drawer. Secondary woods have been attached to the verso of the original skirt to create the drawer and at the same time, runners have been added to the underside of the table. Age appropriate cracks, abrasion and losses to lacquer. Where losses have occurred, filler has been added as well as touch-ups to lacquer.
