The deep conical bowl has gently flaring sides rising from a short ring foot. The interior is molded with three boys amongst scrolling tendrils of flowers and the exterior with a simple curved rib band. It is covered with an olive-green glaze. Harefur glazed Jian bowl and a Ru style faceted vase is decorated with stylized birds. Bowl, H. 2 1/2 in., D. 7 3/8 in.; Vase, H. 5 3/4 in. Condition: The 'Boys' bowl has two chips, approximately 1/2 in. at the top rim; the Jian bowl has a small chip at the top rim, approximately 1/4 in. Condition: Bowl has two chips on the rim
