attributed to Lai Fong of Calcutta (Anglo Chinese, fl. 1887-1910) The masted barque ''Tradewinds'' in full sail oil on canvas, unsigned, unframed 18 x 24in. (45.5 x 61cm.) * Originally named Ophia, ''Tradewinds'' was renamed when Captain Pierre Blampied Le Patourel (1878-1953) became Master in the late 19th Century. Tradewinds held the Blue Ribbon for the tea trip returning from Calcutta to London.
