GASTON LA TOUCHE (French 1854-1913) 'The Bath', oil on canvas, signed lower center Gaston La Touche. Awarded Gold Medal of the First Class at the Carnegie International Exhibition of 1907,besting a painting by Picasso. Also exhibited 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition at the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts. . It was sold to the University Club of Pittsburgh. Contained in gilt gessoed frame. Condition: no visible defects, chips and wear to frame. Dimensions: 82 1/2" X 68", frame 90 1/2" X 76".
