Henry Webster Rice (Massachusetts, Maine, 1853 - 1934) Coastal Maine scene with gulls in flight. Watercolor/gouache. Signed lower left. Image Size: 9.5 x 13.5 in. His works can be found in private collections and museums throughout the United States. The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Portland Museum of Art in Maine each own two of Rice's paintings. His works can also be found in the collections of the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine and Washington University in Seattle, Washington.
