Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'The Adoration of the Magi' sold at Christie's London 'IMPORTANT RUSSIAN PICTURES' in 2006 for $1,761,794. There have been many articles about Pavel Filonov, including 'A century after the Russian revolution, a showcase of its art' written for The Economist in 2017. The artist died in 1941.
