This lot features an oil on canvas winter landscape painting by Charles E. Buckler. Buckler (Canadian, 1869 - 1953) was a Canadian-American painter best known for his scenes of New England but also is known to have painted various animals and wired-haired fox terriers. Signed lower left register. Measures approx. 16" x 20", with frame 20.5" x 24.5". The auction high for Buckler is $4,300. This piece comes with a letter from William H.
