The Property of a Connoisseur, London WILLY ROBERT HUTH (GERMAN 1890–1977) Landscape in Thuringia Signed and dated W.R. Huth 23 (lower right) Watercolour and pencil 29 x 38.5cm (11 1/2 x 15 1/4in) Huth was a close friend of Max Pechstein and joined Die Bruke in 1919, other members being Georg Grosz, Karl Hofer and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. He was associated with Jung-Erfurt and exhibited with the Freie Secession in Berlin in 1920.
