- MELGERS, Henk (Dutch 1899 - 1973). Berken in Herfsttooi [Birch trees in autumn], c. 1932. Oil on canvas, signed 'Melgers' (lower right), titled 'Berken in Herfstooi' [sic!] (on the stretcher); framed in contemp. frame with a stamp of Kunsthandel H. Hoekzema, Groningen on the reverse. Professionally cleaned with minor restoration, several small unobtrusive losses of paint, else in good condition.
