Aurel Nedel (1930, Vaidei - 2014, București) Flower Pot oil on canvas; signed in monogram lower right, in black: AN 100 x 81 cm Aurel Nedel was one of the most loyal students of painter Alexandru Ciucurencu, following in his steps by adopting his style. He gradually developed his own manner, imposing his personality on his great model. Remarkably colorful, it animates solidly built shapes, sometimes strongly underlined by a black outline. (MD)
