Jacoba van Heemskerck was taught by her father, so perhaps by her. From a collection with several drawings by and other materials related to J.E. Heemskerck van Beest, also in this auction. Anonymous. (The Hoofdtoren in Hoorn). Oil on canvas, 31,5x38 cm. = On identical canvas as the above, so probably created at the same time. Perhaps by one of the pupils of J.E. van Heemskerk van Beest. With the annotations "Excursion sur le Zuiderzee" in pen and ink and "Entrée du port de Hoorn d'apres une étude de Mr. van Heemskerck van Beest" in pencil.
