Michael Giaquinto was the Exhibition's Curator at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. He studied at Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA and North Carolina State University, where he focused in Art History. He also taught art at Saint John Paul II High School in Hyannis, MA and taught painting for adults at the Weny Education Center at the CCMoA for many years. He has held workshops at the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Lincoln, MA and the Truro Center for the Arts. Giaquinto was awarded “Craftsman of the Year” by the Early American Life Magazine in 2001 and again in 2005. He is included in Deborah Forman’s book Contemporary Cape Cod Artists on Abstraction, 2015. www.mgiaquintoart.com
