William Frederick Kaeser (Indiana, 1908-1987) industrial harbor scene oil pastel signed and dated 1935 lower right. From Indianapolis, Kaeser was a Social Realist and figurative artist who exhibited at the Hoosier Salon, World's Fair in New York, and at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in the 1930s and 1940s. He was also a painter for the WPA.
