William Frederick Kaeser American / Indiana, (1908-1987) Cole Brothers Circus scene with elephants oil on canvas signed lower left. Provenance: From a private collector in Zionsville / Indianapolis. From Indianapolis, William Kaeser was a figurative artist who exhibited at the Hoosier Salon, and World's Fair in New York, and at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in the 1930s and 1940s. He was also a painter for the WPA, Works Progress Administration.
