An assemblage embedded in saturated lace. The lace is impregnated almost beyond the point of recognizability and is subsequently further heterogeneously obscured, but its presence still easy to sense. The painting moves on the sharply sharpened edge of order and chaos, evoking an action painting from the scrap pieces of civilization. Jiří Černický is first and foremost an experimenter, using intermedia techniques, including video art and virtual poetry, in his work.
